He was born in Elazığ in 1980. He graduated as the top of his class from the Faculty of Dentistry at Yeditepe University in 2004. Hasan Karatay practiced as a freelance dentist between 2005 and 2013 and in 2013, he founded Dentsmile Oral and Dental Health Center.
 

He has participated in many domestic and international training programs in the fields of aesthetic dentistry, implantology, and advanced surgery, adhering to the principle of continuous education. He is also a member of TDB (Turkish Dental Association), CADA (Computer Aided Dentistry Academy), and the Turkish Periodontology Society.
